Privacy & Merchant Data Protection Policy
BengalBytes is committed to privacy by design. NexBiz operates as an offline-first POS ledger: we do not harvest shopkeeper customer lists, phone books, or ledger debts for advertising targeting.
1. Zero Personal Data Harvesting
The NexBiz application stores all retail invoices, customer names, product prices, and dues locally on the merchant's physical Android device inside an encrypted SQLite database. Our Ad Manager edge endpoints have no access to, and do not transmit, merchant financial or ledger records.
2. Device Frequency Capping Hash
To enforce our strict 1-modal-per-day frequency cap, the client app stores a local timestamp in Android `SharedPreferences`. The only telemetry transmitted to the edge sync endpoint is a one-way hashed device identifier and coarse country code (`BD`, `IN`) to verify whether an ad was already rendered on that calendar date.
3. Advertiser Information & Transaction Safety
Advertiser contact details and bKash / Nagad Transaction IDs are stored securely and used solely for payment reconciliation, campaign activation, and delivery audit reporting. We never sell advertiser information to third-party brokers.
